The strangest places on earth, like the Aral Desert, the Manila cemetery or Prypjat, is the topic of the extraordinary book of Alastair Bonnett. This book was created within a university project. This time I checked out something new and created a very

free and unconventional book design. In accordance to the descriptions of the places I did very big-format collages, for which I

used all kind of materials, like pieces of a passport or salt. To combine those collages in a book I built a big atlas made of wood

and added handmade details.
