About me

Born on January 4th, 1993 in Mainz, I grew up in our family business. For this reason, practical work has always been very close to my heart. In 2016, I completed my bachelor's degree in communication design with a focus on illustration in Trier. I then began my master's degree in drawing at the art school in Lisbon, Portugal.

My self-employment began with my first book commission, "Zuppa Lecker Lecker" (published in 2018 by Jaja-Verlag). Since then, I have worked as a freelance illustrator and artist. My main fields of activity are book illustration, editorial illustration and private commissioned work. I also work on my own works, which are often designed in a collage-like style between fine ink drawings and earthy tones. I also enjoy printing with original graphic printing techniques such as linocut.

I work in my studios near Cologne, which are located on a former farm. We plan to continue renovating this farm in the coming years in order to build an art school there. If you have any questions or are interested in a collaboration, please feel free to get in touch :)
